Barrett Barrera Projects (BBP) is an independent exhibition provider specializing in the curation, production, and touring of cross-disciplinary exhibitions at the intersection of fashion, contemporary art, and visual culture.

BBP was founded in 2014 by Susan Barrett with the idea that art is a verb. With that in mind, we work across disciplines and formats, approaching each project with openness to new ideas, collaborators, and ways of working together.

At BBP, we work with a sense of possibility, developing projects and partnerships that are shaped by the artists, institutions, and ideas involved.

We partner with museums, artists, collectors, and cultural organizations to develop, shape, and realize projects across contemporary art, fashion, photography, design, and interiors. Our approach is informed by more than a decade of producing exhibitions and artist collaborations.

BBP manages an extensive collection of fashion, fine art, and photography that serves as a foundation for our exhibitions, partnerships, and collection-based projects.

This inventory reflects the legacy of projects+gallery, our former commercial gallery space in Saint Louis, and includes works by emerging and established artists.
